Household names are household names for a reason – they work and people like them. Softsoap Antibacterial Liquid Hand Soap has been shown to reduce 99.9% of harmful germs, including Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli).
Reviewers at Amazon love that this soft soap liquid soap has a long lifespan (Purchaser says the six-pack lasted more than six months) and although it’s an antibacterial soap, this moisturizing hand soap doesn’t feel dry, flaky, or crusty. It’s also nice and affordable: a pack of six 11.25-ounce bottles costs less than $ 20.

If you are a fan of foaming hand wash and still want to use the full power of microbial murder, try Dial Complete Antibacterial Foaming Hand Soap. Dial, another popular household brand name, has also used clinical trials to prove that its antibacterial hand soap kills up to 99.99% of the germs, although the brand makes it clear that the soap is tested on common household germs, as opposed to, for example to a respiratory pathogen.
Grown alchemist
I can’t say I would spend nearly $ 30 on a single bottle of hand soap, but it’s available to those who want it. It comes in a nice bottle if that helps. And the scent – sweet orange, cedarwood and sage – sounds wonderful.

If luxury hand soap isn’t your jam, pan to the other end of the soap spectrum and check out Dial’s basic liquid hand soap for just $ 1 a bottle.
It’s not the same as Dial Complete Antibacterial Foaming Hand Soap (see above): Plain Dial Liquid Hand Soap does not contain an antimicrobial Benzalkonium chloride, but according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Antibacterial soaps do not protect you more than normal soap if you wash the recommended 20 seconds. So go ahead and get your soap filling for $ 1!
Seventh generation
At just $ 3 a bottle, this seventh-generation hand soap is free of dyes, fragrances or Phthalates – a bargain for people with sensitive skin or for those who just want a gentle, natural soap. Buyers at Amazon love the consistency of the soap (not too liquid), which lathers well and keeps the skin clean, but not dry or irritated.

Puracy uses a herbal, organic formula developed by doctors. It does not contain alcohol or other antimicrobial agents that can lead to dry skin if you wash your hands frequently. It also contains glycerin, aloe vera and essential oils to keep your skin hydrated during cleansing.
Buyers at Amazon praise the brand for helping with extremely dry hands, relieving eczema and keeping dermatitis at bay with aloe vera and herbal ingredients. Purchaser Anyone who gets dry hands even ascribes to Puracy that he will stop bleeding and cracked skin.
Ms. Meyer
Ms. Meyer has become a popular brand for her subtle scents and effectiveness. I personally use Ms. Meyers Clean Day hand soap (as well as dish soap and household cleaners) and this brand never disappointed me.
The cruelty-free formula mainly consists of herbal ingredients, including essential oils. It doesn’t contain parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, though it does contain some surfactants – but you can’t really get away from surfactants if you want to get clean, and there is No evidence that they are harmful.
