best dialer apps and contact apps with picture
To update: This list currently has Drupe as a participant. It’s a really good contact and dialer app. However, the recent security flaws are causing a lot of fuss about the app. The security holes are now gone. Therefore, with a word of caution to our readers, we are including the app back on our list. Click the link to learn more.

Dialer apps and contact apps are a niche market. For the most part, the Stock Dialer and Contacts app is more than good enough most of the time. However, there are some cases when this may be necessary. The Note 8, which occasionally freezes while using the Contacts app, is a good example. In any case, there are a ton of decent options out there, but few really good ones. We also considered creating separate lists for contact apps and dialer apps. However, when you get one, you generally get the other too. Both lists would have pretty much the same apps. So we’ve put it together in a single list here. Here are the best dialer apps and contact apps for Android.

  1. Calls.AI
  2. Stone fruit
  3. Simple Contacts Pro
  4. Simpler caller ID
  5. Truecaller
  6. True Phone Dialer

Calls.AI

Price: Free

Calls.AI is a professional caller ID app specially designed for business owners. When someone calls, you’ll be given vital information about them so you’ll never be surprised again. Additionally, CRM needs are met with task management capabilities so you can stay up to date with team members and customers. Calls.AI even offers a customizable customer labeling system to support your sales pipeline. You can instantly create price proposals to send prospects straight from the app.

If pre-call research wasn’t enough, Calls.AI manages all of your previous engagements and meeting notes so you can look back and find the information you need. Calls.AI takes everything you need in a smartphone and puts it right into your dialer.

Stone fruit

Price: Free / Up to $ 3.99

Drupe is one of the most popular dialer apps for cell phones. It has a modern, beautiful user interface, as well as a call recorder, smart dialer, call blocker and methods of dealing with duplicate contacts. It can even send GIFs to people when you call them, but both people need to have Drupe installed for this to work. The app covers all of the basics and does a lot of them better than the standard app. It has the occasional flaw, but nothing serious. Most of it can be downloaded for free. Some features require purchase through in-app purchases. This app also had a security issue in early 2018. It’s now fixed, but we still recommend being careful with this app.

Simple Contacts Pro

Price: $ 1.19

Simple Contacts is a simple contact app. It doesn’t require any third-party permissions and it doesn’t have any fancy tricks up its sleeve. It’s just a simple app to manage your contacts. You can also manage email contacts and events. There is also a dialer. That’s about all this app really does, and that’s okay. Sometimes you want to remove the extra subtleties and just have an easy place to manage your contact list. This app does that admirably. It’s also open source and has no advertising. There is a free version. However, it is no longer actively being developed in favor of the premium version. So if you want the actively developed version it costs $ 1.19. We think that’s reasonable

Simpler caller ID

Price: Free / Up to $ 9.99

Easier is not as popular as some other dialer apps or contact apps. It should probably be. Simpler offers improved caller ID, duplicate contact control features, social networking support, over 40 topics, and more. It also has call blocking, offline backup, and tools to clean up your contact list a bit. The app rounds off everything in a simple, good-looking material design interface. There really isn’t much wrong with this, aside from mistakes here and there. The app can be downloaded for free with an optional pro version available via in-app purchase.

Truecaller

Price: Free / $ 1.99 per month / $ 17.99 per year

Truecaller is one of the most popular and powerful contact and dialer apps. It even works as an SMS app. It contains a laundry list with functions for the dialer, contacts and SMS parts of the app. These include an SMS spam filter, call blocking, dual SIM support and much more. It also has the best caller ID out there. The interface uses a basic material design. We won’t complain about it! The only real downside is the price. This is one of the few dialer apps or contact apps with a subscription. It’s not necessary to use the basic features, but $ 17.99 per year is a bit expensive for our tastes.

True Phone Dialer

Price: Free / Up to $ 9.99

True Phone Dialer is one of the most popular dialer apps for Android. It has a lot of decent design and functional options. The app shows large pictures of the caller and you can set the style to match many popular OEMs like Google, Apple and others. The customization is very nice and the functionality works too. You can add various information to a person’s contact profile, such as: B. your birthday or other notes. The app seems to work fine for most people and worked well in our tests. However, some complain that the phone does not wake up to show them a caller ID on phone calls.
