34 Free Online Marketing Classes to Take This Year

I don’t know anything about you, but I miss taking classes. I miss taking notes, learning and most of all learning a lot of new skills.

That doesn’t mean that I don’t learn much at work here at HubSpot – because I absolutely do. But sometimes there is nothing better than listening to a lecture, taking notes and doing homework.

Given the frequency with which new technologies and software are developed, it can be overwhelming to keep up with your knowledge simply by reading blog posts and e-books. This is where online learning comes into play at your own pace.

I did some great courses and certifications HubSpot Academy, including one Inbound marketing certification and a Content marketing certification. These courses have helped me do my job better and I have started making a list of other courses I can take to learn more skills. When I finished the list, I realized that you, dear reader, may have similar skills gaps, so I wanted to post it in a blog post.

HubSpot Academy

The HubSpot Academy offers certification and training courses to teach people how inbound marketing and HubSpot software work. Classes are often taught by marketing professionals at HubSpot and consist of video courses, quizzes and tests. Most HubSpot Academy courses are available free of charge. Copyblogger is a content marketing company that creates content over content (i.e. meta). His blog offers a lot of great digital marketing resources. This class, “Internet Marketing for Smart People”, consists of e-books, email lessons and other course materials. Coursera

Coursera offers MOOCs (massive open online courses) created and taught online by universities such as Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California system. Wordstream is a search engine and social media marketing software company that helps marketers get the most ROI from their paid search and social media campaigns. At this point, you probably already know what Facebook is and what it does. What may you not know? It has a training and certification program.
