2021 Toyota Corolla Hatchback adds cargo space, flashy special edition
For those who want the reliability of a Toyota Corolla with more cargo space that Corolla hatchback will only do the trick. And good news, cargo space lovers: for 2021, more cargo space is available at no additional cost. More on that in a moment.
On Tuesday, Toyota showed the Corolla hatch 2021 and the new Corolla hatch Special Edition, which highlights the new model year. If the eye-catching paint strikes, Toyota plans to build 1,500 of them, and each one comes with all the fixings that are included in the SE panel. It’s a well-stocked model, but the Special Edition fairings include the body kit, Supersonic Red paint, and darkened elements, including the 18-inch wheels.
Like all Corolla hatchback models, it is still powered by a 2.0-liter in-line four engine that is combined with a CVT. That is a likely allusion to the rumor Toyota GR Corollawho could use that The turbo three engine from GR Yaris. It makes 257 horsepower. From a three-cylinder. Yes.

The rest of the Corolla hatch series 2021 is the same except for a new option: more cargo space. With Toyota, buyers can add an additional 6 cubic feet of space if they choose the free option. The only downside is that the spare wheel kit is no longer used, but it does offer a deeper cargo space for all of the driver’s belongings. This increases the loading capacity from 17.8 cubic feet to 23 cubic feet.
Two additional airbags and the additional cross traffic alarm round off the changes to the hatchback. Toyota Safety Sense, a series of active safety functions, remains as standard as an 8.0-inch touchscreen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Corolla Hatchback 2021 will arrive at dealerships in late summer. Not yet a word on prices, but a slight increase can be expected across the board.
