2020 Porsche 911 Carrera tested, Cadillac’s new Blackwings and more: Roadshow’s week in review
Happy weekend, roadshow readers. At least I think it’s the weekend. At this time from Corona virus Pandemic and local protection, time has no meaning. As far as I know it could be Tuesday. In this case, I’m late for work.
Anyway! The past seven days have been busy. We spent a long time with the base 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera, 2020 Honda Accord sedan and more. Cadillac also showed us its new Blackwing emblem CT4-V and CT5-V sedans (but not with Blackwing drive), and Porsche rounded off the week with an announcement about the less than outstanding EPA rating of the Taycan 4S.
Here is a summary of our key stories from April 12th to 18th.
Top ratings
2020 Honda Accord
The Honda Accord is a staple of the mid-size family sedan and one of America’s best-selling cars. But it’s also a good choice for people who really love driving, as this Sport 2.0T model with manual transmission shows. Let review editor Jon Wong explain why.

2020 Porsche 911 Carrera
After my test the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S.I jumped into the standard Carrera to see if this solid 911 framework carried over to the most basic version of this sports car. It turns out that this is definitely the case. This car is really the ace of the base.

2020 Subaru WRX
Sometimes a car just makes you smile. That is the case with the Subaru WRX. It’s not the most striking or modern sports compact car, but the turbo engine, all-wheel drive and manual transmission are a recipe for fun on the road. It’s not the new kid on the block, but we still love it.

Some electronic shifters are terrible
More and more cars are being offered with shift-by-wire technology. Of course, there are many advantages, but review editor Craig Cole explains why these shifters are mostly annoying.
Ford F-150 Raptor against Jeep Gladiator Mojave
The new Gladiator Mojave is Jeep’s version of a fast off-roader in the desert. So it’s only natural that we look at how it is compared to its next rival, the Ford F-150 Raptor.
Hear these blackwings roar
No, the new CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing don’t have a Cadillac Blackwing V8 engine under the hood (yes, really), but it sure sounds that way something sweet on offer. Listen to.
