2020 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance canceled amid ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

Celebrations – will be canceled this year due to the continuation Corona virus Pandemic, organizers announced on Wednesday.
The 2020 Concours should take place on Sunday, August 16 and will not be postponed. Instead, the 70th annual Pebble Beach Concours will be skipped this year and will take place on Sunday August 15, 2021.
Monterey Car Week attracts tons of people from all over the world, many of whom are well-heeled people who display the flawless cars in their personal collections. In addition to the Pebble Beach Concours, other Monterey Car Week events include Wachtel Motorsport gather and Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion as well as several top-class auctions. In recent years, automakers have held special events in Monterey to reveal this new concept cars and Series models, also.
It is unclear whether the rest of these events will be canceled, but we cannot imagine that the Monterey Car Week would continue as planned without the high point of the Pebble Beach Concours.
Pebble Beach is one of many automotive events that have ever taken place Canceled or rescheduled due to corona virus concerns. The New York Auto Show moved from April to August (although we’ll see) that The Detroit Auto Show has been canceled, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will not take place, and that Indy 500 races will not take placejust to name a few.
